Another milestone has been reached at our Community Shred Day. We are celebrating 6 years of offering a secure, cost effective shredding service for our local residents. In June we shredded over 11 tons of documents and 20 hard drives for over 200 residents. Over the past 6 years we have securely shredded over 435 tons of paper and 520 hard drives. In recycling all the shredded paper the community has saved over 7000 trees, 3,045,000 gallons of water, and 200,000 gallons of oil.
Corrigan Record Storage is a NAID Certified and HIPAA compliant company. This gives our customers peace of mind that their documents are shredded and recycled in the most secure manner. Our Community Shred Day is held on the first Saturday of each month between 9 am and Noon. The cost is only $5.00 to shred up to 300 pounds (1 bin) and only 10 cents a pound over 300 pounds. We also securely shred hard drives for $5.00 or still in the tower for $10.00. Our great staff will always help you unload your car and shred your documents immediately. You can stay and watch or drop off and go. There is never a wait longer than a few minutes.
If you can’t make our Community Shred Day, we are open Monday-Friday in our Novi location from 9 am until 4 pm for accepting your personal documents to be shredded. The cost during the week is 10 cents a pound with a $15.00 minimum charge. Please call our office at 248-344-9185 to make an appointment if you would like to view your documents shredded during the week. Our next Community Shred Day will be on July 6th. Thank you to all the residents for supporting our Community Shred Day!
