A warm November 5th brought out quite the crowd to our monthly Community Shred Day. Over 130 residents showed up to have more than 7 tons of paper documents securely shredded. We also destroyed over 10 hard drives. Our Community Shred Day is open to the public on the first Saturday of every month from 9 am until Noon. For only $5.00 you can have up to 300 pounds of paper destroyed properly. You can either drop it off with our staff or even stay to watch it be shredded. If you have more than 300 pounds, it’s only $0.10 a pound for anything past 300 pounds. We also shred individual hard drives for $5.00 or with the tower for $10.00. All of the shredded paper is recycled through a paper mill providing us with items like paper towel and toilet paper. If you can’t make it to a Community Shred Day, we are open during the week from 9 am until 4 pm for drop off service for $0.10 a pound with a $10.00 minimum. Our next Community Shred Day will be on Saturday December 3rd from 9 am until Noon. Spread the word…tell your friends, family, co-workers, and business owners to come by and see us.
