Our Community Shred Day was held this labor day weekend. We had an excellent turnout of residents who brought us over 15,000 pounds of documents to properly shred. We are so appreciative of our local community for supporting our monthly Community Shred Day. Each month we offer this service on the first Saturday of the month (unless it’s a holiday) between 9 am and Noon. For only $5.00 you can shred up to 300 pounds of paper. If you have more than it’s only $0.10 a pound. We also shred hard drives for $5.00 or still in the tower/laptop for $10.00. The shred day is held each month to promote proper secure shredding as well as recycling. After your documents are shredded, Corrigan Record Storage sends the paper directly to a mill to be recycled into products we use on a daily basis like toilet paper and paper towels. Our next Community Shred day will be held on October 7th from 9 am until Noon. Spread the word to anyone you know!
